Terms & Conditions

Let our experience make the difference.

Below are the terms and conditions on which Oris Medical provides service to its clients. Please ensure you have read and understood these terms fully before signing any consent form prior to any treatment.

Appointments and cancellations

We will notify you of your appointment time and date along with the address of the clinic concerned.

If you wish to change the appointment we need a minimum of 24 hours notice. Failure to do so may result in us charging a cancellation fee. Should you fail to appear at a booked appointment you may be charged a cancellation fee.

Please arrive at your appointment in plenty of time, late arrivals may receive a shortened appointment time or will be regarded as a failure to appear and therefore may attract a cancellation fee. Every effort will be made to ensure your appointment runs on time; however we may experience reasons beyond our control which means your appointment may be postponed or rescheduled at short notice. In this unlikely event, Oris Medical will make every effort to contact you in advance to advise you of alterations to your appointment time. We do not however offer compensation if we need to cancel your appointment. If this happens we will make every effort to accommodate you at the soonest possible appointment time.

Some treatments require skin preparation at home. Should this not be complete, we may have to cancel your appointment and a cancellation fee may be applied or consultation time reduced.

Payments

All payments will be made immediately after treatment at the clinic. If you are having a series of treatments, the full cost of the course will be paid for after the first treatment.

Methods of payment accepted by Oris Medical are credit/debit card, cheque or cash.

Client suitability

At your initial consultation you will be assessed regarding your suitability to treatment. If we think you are not suitable for treatment, we will explain the reasons why and you will only be charged a consultation, if applicable.

A medical history will be taken at the initial consultation. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure Oris Medical is provided with all relevant medical details prior to any treatment. Oris Medical are not liable for any damage resulting from the clients failure to declare any such details.

Liability

The client agrees to comply with all advise and information given by their Oris Medical doctor in relation to treated areas.

Oris Medical will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Oris Medical’s  liability for death or any personal injury resulting from Oris Medical’s negligence.

Complaints

Oris Medical strive to offer a quality service to all its clients. If you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment, you are entitled to lodge a complaint in writing or by telephone to the treating clinic. Your complaint will be acknowledged by letter from your treating clinic within one week.

During the investigation of your case, Oris Medical may require you to attend an additional consultation with the doctor involved in your treatment, if deemed appropriate. If you are not satisfied with this initial attempt at resolution, your treating clinic will refer your complaint to Oris Medical headquarters and the directors will continue investigations.

You may at any time refer your complaint to the Care Quality Commission.
